Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Florida is starting its first mentoring program in Putnam County!

This is a communtiy based program. The program will match a volunteer who is 21 or older with a child who has a parent incarcerated in a state or federal prison. Volunteers are screened, trained, and provided ongoing support. The volunteer mentors are asked to spend time with the child after school or on weekends out in the community having fun and exploring new things!

It doesn't take a large financial commitment to invest in a child. A few hours a month can be a rewarding experience for both of you!
