In the Community

Building our community one volunteer hour at a time, is our philosophy at Prosperity Bank. It is extremely important to us to support the communities where we work and live. 

To stand behind our values, Prosperity Bank established the Prosperity Outreach Program (POP) in 2002. As a part of this program, we encourage our employees to take four hours of paid time off, each month, to volunteer at the non-profit organization of their choice. For every 16 hours that an employee volunteers at the same non-profit organization, they receive $100 to donate to them. 

In addition, employees personally receive prizes for their volunteer efforts and are recognized annually at the POP Awards Banquet. Since the start of the POP program, Prosperity Bank has volunteered more than 63,450 hours and more than $127,000 to charities throughout Northeast and Northwest Florida. The success of this program continues to grow within Prosperity Bank. Our community partnership supports organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, March of Dimes, Alpha Omega Miracle Home, Learn to Read, Communities in Schools, Meals on Wheels, Catholic Charities, American Cancer Society, and many more.
